NC-01 is a device that enables the communication between isolated APN network and other network using RS485 or RS422 standard.
NC-01 connects with an APN network using GSM 2G technology and GSM operator’s infrastructure. Access to the APN network is acquired via a VPN tunnel.
NC-01 can work in three modes:
- Transparent mode – all bytes are sent between networks without making any changes in them.
- MODBUS protocol mode – this mode enables sending data using MODBUS TCP or MODBUS RTU over TCP protocol to a RS485/RS422 network that uses MODBUS RTU protocol.
- Marked frame mode – data string begins with one or two characters that identify the beginning of a frame and it ends with one or two characters identifying the end of a frame.
NC-01 provides solutions when there is a need of connecting local devices with centralized SCADA systems or other devices and networks.
